Long Hai Security Service Trading Company Limited (LHS Ltd) officially started on December 6, 1995, with license number 2009/GP-UB issued by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee on September 6, 1995. Major General Phan Van Xoan – Former Commander, High Command of Police is the founder, Chairman and General Director of the Company.
He took the name Long Hai meaning “Vietnam has an S-shaped like a dragon, and Vietnam has a long coastline, so it is considered a Sea Dragon flying.
As a person with more than 40 years of experience in security work (including the years as a bodyguard of President Ho Chi Minh), immediately after the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (with the policy of the Party and State is the congress on renewing the economy, allowing open doors to foreign investors and making friends with all peace-loving countries all over the World). Major General Phan Van Xoan formed the idea of establishing a private security company right after his retirement, with the desire to pass on valuable lessons drawn from the practice of protection for the younger generation.
After nearly 2 years of researching and planning economic feasibility studies as well as implementing necessary legal procedures. LHS Ltd was born and became the first private security service company in Vietnam.
With the enthusiasm of his predecessors and a sense of responsibility of a party member, he not only brought jobs to thousands of workers, but also educated and trained them to become ideal and ethical, be transparent and contribute to maintaining national security and social safety.
On 9 November 2006 as a requirement to development, the Company changed to a type of share with the license number 4103005524 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City, to become a Security Service Trading Joint Stock Company. Long Hai (LHS JSC) and Mr. Phan To Hong Nam, Deputy Director of the Company, were elected Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Continuing to respond to the application according to the development needs of the Company and promptly responding to the development requirements of science and technology and the development trend of the industry, since the end of 2009, the Company has cooperated with Securitas Holding AB Company in Sweden and licensed by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City on December 15, 2009 with License No. 0301339533.
As an international company with foreign invested capital, Long Hai Securitas JSC always aims for a successful job and pays attention to the main organizations: Party Committee, Trade Unions, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and Ve Sy Tre Association. The Board of Directors always creates the conditions for the organization to function and considers it one of the important factors that make the Company strong, as well as paying attention to respect and comply with state law as well as guarantee legal rights of employees. In addition, this is a very new service to be launched in Vietnam and in return, a service that determines success or failure, so the Board of Directors always builds people by training them.
In 2020, the company has been operating for 25 years and from the motto “No quality is not successful”, now the company has oriented and wanted a higher goal, which is “We help make your world a safer place.”
